Screening Coverage by Provinces 1st Quarter 2019 vs 2020

Figure 1 shows the percentage decrease of the sample receipt of NSC-NL from the Newborn
Screening Facilities of the provinces of Regions 1 and 2.

There was a significant decreased of samples receipt from Pangasinan (22.07%), followed by
Cagayan (18.02%). A noticeable decrease of samples was noted from Isabela (12.66%) and Nueva
Vizcaya (11.91%). Moreover, there is also considerable decline of samples from Ilocos Norte (10.05%),
while Ilocos Sur (9.57%) and La Union (9.58%) has almost the same decrease in percentage. Whereas,
least percentage of decrease in samples receipt is from the province of Batanes (6.06%).
