his blog post will be on the variable place.

For this blog I will be using


Hewlett Packard (HP) for my examples, and to show how they utilise this
variable. So the ‘place’ part of the marketing mix focuses on the
distribution channels of the product or service and where the customer can
buy the product or service.

What is a channel of distribution? Well it is all the individuals and


organisations that are involved in the process that gets the products from
producers to customers.
