1. “Religion is a socially accepted form of Magic” Discuss this idea and explain why
Religion is, or is not, Magic in your view.

2. a) Contrast Christianity with the Bahai faith. Be sure to identify the major
theological differences.

b) Summarize the basic concepts of Hinduism rejected by Buddha and his

followers.

3. “Rather than dwell on differences and disputes, Jews, Christians and Muslims
need to focus on religious beliefs that can bring us together in peace. These
religious commonalities could help build unity.” Identify and explain at least six
of these commonalities.
