Demo Day Diary:

Demo day was such an awesome experience! Before Demo Day, my team and I had the goal of
finishing a final product to represent our business idea and process in the masters program. We
were so happy to be able to display a beautiful first edition of Flow: Find Yours! We met the day
before to set up our stand for Demo day and picked a spot in the back. I thought it would be cool
to have a place where we could let participants play the game with me.
I was so excited and anxious on the day of. I got there an hour early and met with Andrea. Lilla
came a bit later when we were done setting up. It made me realize how dedicated my team
members are and who is here for the future and who is here for the project; each objective just
as important as the other.
When people arrived, many people were very intrigued with the idea! It made me feel so
empowered to be able to share my experience with this program and the creation my team and I
have come together with.
I got to show the program director, Diamanto, an example of the game as I played with fellow
classmates of the corporate track. I am so inspired by this woman and I am so grateful to be
able to show her what I've done with the program. I was a bit embarrassed that I was focusing
on a game in the beginning, but now with everything we've learned and what we found we can
create with this game, I couldn't be more proud or grateful.

We took 6 surveys of people that were confident enough to play. Their feedback was
surprisingly positive and they had great suggestions for the future. I got to meet many people
who worked with venture lab, got lots of feedback from mentors in the mentorship program, and
met some awesome people who study at Lund University. Sven even invited me to his music
studio in Simrishamn to record, which was so awesome! I can't wait to visit and do some
recordings myself.

I was interviewed by Skånska dagbladet about our game and how we've been testing it in
schools. This week (a week after demo day) my cousin called and told me she saw a coworker
reading an article with me featured! So cool to know how much recognition we are getting and
how I've been able to be featured in so many Swedish programs since I moved here.
All the support we've received has been so overwhelming. I have been crying for days because
I've been so happy and satisfied with how everything has gone. I've also been crying because
how scared I am of the uncertain future. However, the uncertainty would be there, regardless if
I'm going for my dreams or settling for the status quo. My family is healthy and happy. I have an
incredibly loving and SWEDISH boyfriend. My business partner is incredible and a badass. I am
so excited for the future and can't be any happier with how demo day showed me to stay strong
and confident, just like my game is trying to teach others!
