Remove and destroy Bulletin 04.1-02, amended 2/98.
Replace with this Bulletin.

ISSUE:
A revised coolant, Jaguar D542, which is yellow, has entered Sedan Range
production from VIN 803242.

ACTION:
Use only yellow Jaguar D542 coolant when topping up the coolant level on any
Sedan Range vehicle from VIN 803242-on. Dilute the new coolant with an equal
volume of clean water.
Sedan Range vehicles in the VIN range 720001-803241 can be topped up with
D542.
If a vehicle in the VIN range 720001-803241 requires repairs that involve a major
loss of coolant, drain the system of D985 and refill with coolant D542. Do not
flush the cooling system unless there is a complaint of poor heater performance.

MNA 7698AA) on the coolant reservoir to indicate that the vehicle has been
converted. Use only Jaguar D542 coolant when subsequently topping up the
coolant level.
Vehicles factory-filled with D542 (from VIN 803242-on) do not have the coolant
reservoir sticker.
