Growth Mindset Part 2

Early this year, the first paper discussed the ideas behind having a growth mindset

towards learning. The graph below can help reflect on whether a growth mindset was achieved

during this past week. Below, you can see that this week does not uphold the standards of a

growth mindset. The week consisted mostly of sleep, school, and Netflix. Studying was not

prioritized this week with only two total hours of homework. This could simply be because I do

not receive homework anymore, and laziness has set in because of an early college decision.

Improving this weekly schedule would be fairly easy to accomplish. I should focus more

of my schoolwork instead of procrastinating on social media and movie streaming. This would

allow me to have more time to prepare for college and finish my senior year with a high GPA.

This would overall help my college experience. There is a good take away from the data,

however. My sleep schedule is healthy which is good for my body and athletic career. Overall,

achieving a growth mindset is not impossible; it will just take some work.
