My Display Board As technology enters the classroom more and more each
day, there are always new innovations being brought
Bulletin boards can be educational tools as well as
colorful decorations. It can introduce new topics and
generate students interest. As a future teacher, in
making display bulletin boards it must be well organized,
engaging and easily accessible. It must be located where
the students and viewers will see them. The content
must be informative like for example in wall decorations
in a classroom, it must contain subject with the lessons
on a certain grading period, attendance charts, rules,
school calendar, class officers and others. In designing or
creating display boards, it must be made of durable
materials to have a well-constructed boards, designed
with colorful pictures where the students will be attracted
to read the content of the display board. The bulletin
board must convey message quickly. The content must
be readable, specific and has a correct grammar.
that can help the teacher to get their points across better
and help students learn more efficiently. As a future
teacher, I prefer using PowerPoint presentation because
it provides the ability to equip my presentations with
different types of media like images, sounds, animations,
an actual video of the topic and others that helps
enhanced the learner’s ability to learn or retain
information especially those who are visual learners.
In using PowerPoint presentation, mistake can be made
not only the presentation itself but also the way it is
presented. I am not against using traditional instructional
materials, because on the other hand it will help us
future teachers when we need it as alternatives.
In the future, I will use PowerPoint presentation
appropriately for it will be effective in the teaching-
learning process.
