Group Presentation- 10 %

Groups of 3 - 4 persons.

Presentations may be recorded or live. Presentations may be creatively delivered. Video

recordings are acceptable, or well-arranged PowerPoints. (should be able to run without the
presenter being there)

Due: By the end of August – After exams (remember this is your final course mark)

Here are the topics of discussion. These are referring directly to the Funeral Services
Profession.

 CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION

In your presentation, you will be required to do the following:

1. Define the concept and explain its origin. (Include categories if) (5 marks)
2. Explain its role and function in a civil Caribbean society. (3 marks)
3. Explain its role and function directly in the profession/field. (3 marks)
4. Identify at least THREE laws or regulations sufficiently related to this area. (9 marks)
5. Explain the purpose of any THREE of these laws spoken of above. (15 marks)
6. Make suggestions for reform (if necessary) (5 marks)
7. Expression (creativity, clarity, use of language) (5 marks)
8. Organization (groupwork, preparation, fluidity) (5 marks)

Total (50 marks)
