ABSTRACT

Mobile forensics is the branch of digital forensics which relates to mobile devices
and how digital evidence can be acquired and extracted from these devices in a
forensically sound manner. We may look for the following data on Android
devices SMS, MMS, emails, call logs, contacts, photos, calendars, notes, browser
history, GPS locations, passwords, data stored on SD cards, etc. SecInfo is an
android tool incorporates various features in a single platform. As it covers all the
important features of the mobile phone the manual Acquisition of data can be
much easier and speedy. The data from an android phone which can be used as
evidence are collected using metasploit. The output of the metasploit is sent to the
phone via sharing a url or by simply by pasting it to any particular location. This
data is displayed on the tool. For e.g., if the investigator want to know about the
whatsapp login details, by clicking on the whatsapp icon the investigator will be
redirected to the whatsapp usage details such as date and time.Like this each data
will be each feature of the application.
