To whom it may concern:

It was my privilege to supervise Julie Hawkins during her semester of clinical teaching at Texas A & M
University. She always did more than what was expected of her from the university and her cooperating
teacher. She quickly built a strong rapport with her students and knew how to teach creating a positive
environment with her students which helps to build their confidence in learning. She always had
excellent lessons and used her strengths to teach students to the highest levels for learning.

On each of her evaluation performances, she met the expectations doing her best to improve on her
previous lesson and she did. She used technology to enhance her teaching techniques She wanted to
improve with each observation and asked what she might do to in order to accomplish that goal. She
used our discussion of her lesson to make each lesson she taught better than the previous lesson.

She will make an excellent teacher.

I would certainly recommend her to any campus as a teacher. Please feel free to call me with any other
questions.
