Remove materiels used to cover openings. ° Remeve, clean and check spark plugs. Install spark plugs end torque to value specifics in Engine Manual, and connect Spark plug leads. 9. Check uel sirainer, Remove and clean filter s-ieen if necessary. h. Cheek fuel tank for moisture and sediments: drain enough fuel to eliminate moisture and sediments. i. GROUND HANDLING () Towing: A tow bar allached to the nose gear should be used [ur steering and manoeuvring the aircraft on the ground, CAUTION When towing the eircraft, never turn the nose wheel more than 45° to either side of center; otherwise the nose gear will be damaged. Do not push on the control susfaces or outboard empennage surfaces. When pushing onthe rear fuselage, always apply pressure at the bulkhead to avoid buckling of skin. (il) Parking: Precautions for parking depend principally on lecal ccrditions. As a general precaution, set parking brake or put chacks on wheels and install the locks on the controls’. In high wind conditions, tie-down the aircreit as outlined in the following paragraph, if a hengar is not available. (iii) Tie-Down: When mooring the aircraft in the onan space, head into the wind as far as possible. Secure contral surfaces with the internal control lock or surface lock and set parking brakes, cauTION Do not apply parking brakes when they are over-heated or during cold weather; under such concitions, accumulated: moisture may freeze them. . FUELLING For mooring the aircraft fa, Ropes, cables or chains shall be used to tie t= the wing to tie-down fittings, b. Secure a tie-down rope (no chains or cable) to the exposed portion of the engine mount and secure opposite end of rops to a ground anchor . c. Secure a tie-down rope (no chains or cables} 9 the tail tie-down ring at the tail skid and secure opcosite end of rope to 2 grcuad anchor. d. Secure control lock on the pilot control colu . If control lock is not available, lock the aileron and elevator controls by loop.:g the pilot seat belts around the control column. e@. Place chocks on the wheels. B, FUELLING PROCEOURE Fuel tank should be filled with the recommendes grade of fuel. During fuelling procedure fire fighting equigment should be ava.uble near the aircraft. Engine Cat. “C’ covering Rotax 914F3 engine or Approval / Authorisation fram DGCA. Radio > “Cat.
