Summary of “let’s get the point”

Many people use "hello" and "how are you?" These are possibly the most commonly used

greetings in English. However, English speakers don't always say "hello" and "how are

you?" They can also use many other English greetings and expressions to mean

differentthings. Knowing these greetings in English can help you sound more natural, and

express yourself more clearly.

One of the most rewarding aspects of speaking a foreign language is to manage to use

verbal words and times appropriately to be able to understand and communicate ideas

clearly and accurately. However, developing a skill like this takes a lot of work and a lot of

effort. To successfully communicate on oral forms and written in English, reading and

writing skills must be strengthened so that you can get the main point of reading a textbook

or article, including writing a summary in English. People can process information in many

ways, they have different preferences when it comes to learning. Some people, for example,

like to watch YouTube videos to learn how to do things. Others prefer to learn by doing

things on their own.

Many people generally use texts such as books, articles, and passages in English as well as

helps them improve text interpretation and focus on finding the main ideas that are backed

by details or additional information that helps them gain better knowledge and

understanding of the text. According to Langman (2015), the support details in a paragraph

refer to facts, statements, specific examples that guide us to a complete understanding of

the main idea. This is why when writing a summary it is considered as a reading
comprehension strategy because it involves decoding vocabulary, identifying main ideas

and key points, and finally expressing information using your own words.

As they learn English, they will be able to learn new topics such as forming and using

verbal times correctly, although it can be a bit of a difficult task if speakers do not know in

what situations these times are used and what kind of meaning they convey. But as you

learn, you will be able to master times as the simple present and also perfect your language

learning.
