I am writing to express my intent for the position of Engineer II in your esteemed

department.

The role is very appealing to me, and I believe that my current experience as job order
in Materials Testing Division make me a highly competitive candidate for this position.
My key strengths that would support my success in this position include:

 I am knowledgeable with the different material testing methods especially in

cement and miscellaneous materials in accordance with ASTM
 I have an experience with procuring various testing equipment in accordance
with the RA 9184 or Government Procurement Reform Act
 I provide helpful contributions to my co-workers knowing that teamwork is a
crucial requirement for the success of any company

Currently pursuing a MS degree in Civil Engineering, I have become equipped with

necessary skill set such as technical writing, researching and problem solving and other
engineering concern that can benefit the department. Pursuing a master’s degree
shows my interest in continually gaining knowledge and prepares me for a life of
constant learning.
