Re: Special Sanitization Allowance to Merchants Portals active during lockdown peri The Government has mandated safety measures to be implemented by Offices, due to COVID-19 pandemic. Since our Premium Points are operational all over India, Competent authority has decided to grant one-time allowance of Rs.2500/- during the lockdown petiod only, for sanitization /cleanliness of Premium Point area, provided conditions mentioned below are fulfilled: During lockdown period: 1, Merchant Portal should be active. 2. Minimum amount of Rs.2,00,000/-is collected. The amount will be- debited to Account Code 11322900 (Service Charges to Empowered Agents), No separate bills will be required to be submitted. Branch Managers(I/C) are authorized to release the reimbursement to eligible Merchants, after verification of fulfilment of above-mentioned conditions and obtaining the declaration as per format attached with this circular. : , The above provision will come into #6 effect from 16.04.2020.
