CRITIQUE OF PRE COURSE ENGLISH MODULE

1. Observations.
a. It has been found that most of the morning sessions are allocated for own study where
as less productive post lunch sessions are allocated for theory classes.
b. To attend 3 hours of lectures naval students had to travel 3 hours in most days.
c. Since most of the academic Supervisors for CRP are at KDU, finalizing of the
research proposal could have been done before termination of the pre course module
considering the administration difficulties after commencement of DSCSC.

3. Recommendations

a. It is recommended to conduct theory classes in the morning sessions and allocate own
study sessions after lunch.
b. Accommodation for the naval students at KDU is recommended.
c. Recommended to finalize CRP proposal before termination of pre course module.
