Structural framing for floors ground to 2:

Plan out the structure to move from office column spacing to retail spacing. Show on plans of all floors
the arrangement of beams and columns including the slab, beam, column and wall sizes and any
transfer structures. You should pay careful attention to the requirement for clear space at the ground
floor for the retail areas. The ground floor slab may need some transfer structures in order to
accommodate (possible) changes in column spacing between ground and basement level. These
should be detailed. Demonstrate how the structure in its entirety achieves overall stability.
