SECTION XIII

ON VOCAL REGISTERS – VOCAL RANGES

A person's vocal register is the tones that their vocal organs produce
when they are in a certain position and each voice has three registers that
don´t exist by nature but they are formed over the years. However, not all
voices use all three registers and they aren´t used at the same time.

Normally people speak without paying attention to how they speak,

that is, people make natural and appropriate use of the vocal organs
seeking comfort, although in some cases bad habits can be created that
produce ugly or weak voices.

Singers have three ways of singing that are with the chest, with the
middle voice and with the head. Sometimes if the three ways of singing
are very different separate registers are formed but if they are good
during their training they must know how to change the way of singing
naturally and achieve a beautiful and balanced sound.

Also some singers may have bad habits and not understand well
what the registers consist of, so the correct thing is to say the tone and its
corresponding register.
