I am working in pension branch and having all the knowledge of pension. I

questions also.

Preparation of pension documents.

1. Notification of retirement

2. No demand certificate 

3. Undertaking on stamp paper

4. Option for commute percentage/ gratuity (fix 25%)

5. List of legal heirs of govt servant

6. Bank option form

7. Photographs 3 copies

8. CNIC 2 copies

9. Last pay certificate

All the documents must be attested by the head of department. While section

7 of the pension paper (it is a section in the pension papers) must be attested

from head of department who has the appointment/posting/termination

authority.

How to find service.

Date of Retirement = 30.06.2016

Date of appointment= 01.07.1983

Length of govt service = 30 days 11 months and 32 years.

One thing must be noted that you will consider only 30 years of service if

someone service is more than 30 years because govt do not gives any benefit

in pension for service more than 30 years

HOW TO FIND AGE AS ON RETIREMENT.

Date of Retirement = 30.06.2016

Date of Birth = 01.03.1966

Age as on retirement = 29.03.50

It should be noted that you will consider age next birthday as 51 in this case

as per rules. If only one day is above the round year age i.e. if 30 years 1 day

is the age as on retirement you will take it 31.

Age helps in finding of commutation value. 

How to find Gross pension.

Gross pension = basic pay*7* no of years govt service (not more than 30

years in any case) divided by 300

If basic pay= 30000

=30000*7*30/300

Gross pension =21000

How to find commutation

Commutation= gross pension*35%*12* no of years purchased.

No of years purchased is a value in commutation table in which a value is

written against each age as on retirement which we calculated above. It is a

standard table used all over Pakistan and already fixed by govt.
