A N INITIATIVE FOR THE VOCC AND BEYOND

A preliminary review for budding start-ups to evaluate the concept, journey, challenges
and seek advice on the future course of action.

Process:
1. Interested entrepreneurs shall prepare a pitch deck comprising of the key
information (to be shared in the format of a template).
2. After receipt of the Pitch Deck, the Entrepreneur shall be allotted a time slot of 30
mins wherein during the first 5 mins, he shall be delivering his pitch and the
consequent 25 mins would be an elaborate discussion of the said business idea.
3. The feedback shall be recorded on a text document for reference to the entrepreneur.

Expected Outcome:
The Entrepreneur is equipped with information on the good, the bad, the ugly and the
absolute chaos. This would allow him to better work on the idea or drop it completely!

The Mentor Panel:
- The volunteering panel member would be undertaking this exercise in their personal
capacity and from their professional experience. The inputs in any manner are purely
advisory in nature and cannot be held against the mentor (a proper disclaimer shall
be inculcated into each session/feedback)
- The selection of the mentors could be based on their professional capacity, experience
and understanding of the industry.

Team Size:
1. To organise sessions, collect pitch decks, and co-ordinate : 1 Member
To record feedback shared by mentors during the session
2. : 1 Member
and appropriately collate it
3. Mentors : 7 Volunteers

Sessions:
1. 1 session may be conducted every week.
2. Sessions could be done over video calls or in person.
3. A waitlist could be created for entrepreneurs for prospective schedule.
