Colourless painting

Once upon a time, there was a colourless painting. It was no

ordinary case because someone broke into the gallery and stole
all colours of the painting. All its shades turned greys, blacks
and whites. It seemed like something out of an old black and
white movie. As it was the first achromatic painting it became
known all over the world. But people stopped visiting the
gallery as they didn’t want to look at the pale picture.

At the same time nobody could help this situation due to

costliness of the paints. Only the most talented artists could
afford to buy them. But as we know such painters were
travelling all the time and it was very complicated to meet
them and ask for help. Time passed and the picture was fading
more and more. The gallery owner had already lost hope and
wanted to get rid of this masterpiece.

But suddenly the doors opened and one man entered the
gallery. It was Roland Green, a famous painter, who was the
author of that picture. He took his beautiful multicoloured
paints with him and began painting again. People gathered
around the artist, cheering him up and worrying about the
process. He spent a lot of time bringing the painting back to
life. And after two-day backbreaking working the master
painted the picture in bright colours. The painting became
even more beautiful and juicy that it used to be before. People
were taken aback as if they had never seen it.

However, the painter was disappointed because of the people’s

shallowness and their careless attitude to his work. He realized
that they liked it only due to its external cover but not because
of its idea. So, he decided to deprive them of the pleasure of
contemplating it.

He waved his hand, said a spell, and magically, the birds left
the picture and flew far away to another world where people
would appreciate what they have.
