A pleasant afternoon to everyone especially to our President and Founder Dr.

Rustico Balderian, to our

guest speaker Dr. Rommel Capungcol, to our deans Mrs. Lilia Gales and Mrs. Susanna Bencio, to our
Level Coordinator Mrs. Ma. Melanda Sosing, to our School Registrar Ms. Jennifer Malinao, to my fellow
faculty members and staff, and graduates and their parents. We are now at the commencement of
another academic year to culminate what had been done by the batch Hilton and Peplau and to reap
the harvest they have justly earned. Welcome to your graduation day!

Later this afternoon, the hard-fought recognition will be flaunted and I believe social media would be
the easiest means to tell the world about it. Yes, you have made it this far. But do not consider this as
your hubris. Never forget to look back at how you have gotten here in this momentous event. My dear
graduates, many have fallen from grace because of arrogance but fewer have remained in the
firmament of success because of humility. I like the word “humility”. I believe it is very easy to be proud
of one’s achievements but a constant struggle to remain humble despite the success. How best can you
remain humble? Gratitude. Always be thankful for the people who have made things possible. Never
forget that. Being thankful is one of the greatest feeling that puts us above all other creatures. Being
thankful allows us to hop from one cobblestone to another without thinking of the size of the world at
your feet. Being thankful means being happy with what you have now and accepting what is yet to
come.

Though a cliché, your graduation may commence your academic years but your lives are merely just
beginning. Your school may have equipped you with knowledge to brave the world and your parents
may have given you the attitude to face the challenges. Be thankful you are blessed with both. Not many
have the same opportunity as you.

Now that you are about to embark on life, always put a spring on your step and a smile on your lips. Do
not be saddened by this momentary separation from acquaintances weaved but be glad that you are
about to expand your world. Yet do not be too eager to move to the future that you neglect the
precious moments of the present. Remember that you rarely get second chances.

I know congratulation is at hand but many will greet you then. My words for this address is but to leave
you with the choice to opt for bravery or cowardice. It has always been up to you. You are all more
independent that you know. Again, welcome to this day that will mark your entry into the real world
called LIFE. Thank you.
