RESCUING BONDED LABOUR

Steps to rescue victims

1. IDENTIFY BONDED LABOUR

The NGO gathers evidence and facts supporting their claims of existence of bonded labour .

An Advocate verifies these facts and corroborates them with the legal elements of bonded labour in
accordance to the Bonded Labour Act , 1976 .

2. SUBMITTING BONDED LABOUR COMPLAINTS

The NGO drafts a complaint that is to be submitted before the District Magistrate pertaining to the
facts.

The Advocate reviews the Bonded Labour complaint for technicalities and helps the NGO to further
file the complaint.

A bonded Labour rescue and assist is initiated after this.
