Also known as MRP II, is a method for the effective planning of a manufacturer’s resources.
MRP II is composed of several linked functions, such as businesses planning, sales and
operations planning, capacity requirements planning, and all related support systems.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is business process management software that allows an
organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate

DISADVANTAGES OF ERP SYSTEM:


 The installation of the ERP system is costly. ERP consultants are very expensive take
approximately 60% of the budget.
 The success depends on the skills and experience of the workforce, including education
and how to make the system work properly.
 Resistance in sharing internal information between departments can reduce the efficiency
of the software.
 The systems can be difficult to use.
 Change of staff, companies can employ administrators who are not trained to manage the
ERP system of the employing company, proposing changes in business practices that are
not synchronized with the system.
