All teachers of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are invited to
register for ONLINE Teacher Training Certification in subjects except History & Reading offered in
collaboration with American Board Teaching Certification (WWW.americanboard.org). This initiative is an
opportunity towards improving teaching standards. All other officers of the Department involved in the
management of education may also avail this offer to brush up their knowledge and skills in the subject
of their choice if they so desire. The interested teachers and education managers may use the following

The Department emphasizes that the enrollment in the offered courses is voluntary and free of cost. If
the registered person wants to get himself/herself accredited at his/her own expense and obtain a
certificate in a particular course he/she will have to undertake the online proctored examination on
payment of US$ 100. The certification may be useful for persons who intend to seek teaching jobs
internationally and/or qualify for online tutoring.

The schools are closed because of the fiasco created by COVID-19 and the Department encourages its
teachers and education managers to make use of the available time to polish their knowledge and skills.
The regular cost of the program is US$ 2000 per person but we have worked out an arrangement with
American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence to make this valuable resource available to you
free of cost unless you decide to undertake the accreditation examination at your own expense.
