“Introduction to Business” is an introductory course into the field of business


Management, leadership, entrepreneurship, accounting, and administration .

Course Details
Upon the completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1- Understand the role of organization in the achievement of business goals.
2- Understand what is involved in operations and production management.
3- Develop an understanding and importance of the markting plan, Price, promotion
And distribution of products and services to satisfy unsatisfied needs in the market
place.
4- Understand the underiying principles finance.
5- Understand the role of accounting in business and the major financial reporting
documents.
6- Become familiar with the fundamentals of human resource management and labor
relations.
7- Understand the economic, social, political, technological and ecological environments
in which businesses operate. Explore the realm of international business.

William L. King
William “Bill” King is an organizational development consultant. He does research in
leadership development, personnel management,and training.
Over the past nine years he has provided extensive consulting and training to both the
public and the private sector.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration ( M.B.A 9) from Harvard and a
Master´s degree in Finance (Master of Science in Finance – MSF) from American University.
