My Pets

Chaolei Lewis
All My Pets
Ever since I was young, I have always loved animals. I have previously kept exotics for short
periods of time, but recently I have been accuring an increasing collection of reptiles and
invertebrates. I currently have about 9 reptiles, however that could change soon because I have a
few eggs that may hatch soon. I have over 40 different types of invertebrate, so I am unable to
show all of them, but I have included some of my favorite species on the list. All my animals live
in bioactive vivariums which include live plants and insects that act like a natural ecosystem.
Poppi
This is my crested gecko Poppi, she is
actually kind of famous because she was
the subject fo my award winning art
piece!
Matchi
Matchi is my jeweled lactera, he is very
curiuos and loves food!
Joe
Joe is actually my mom's frog, he was
a gift for her when my grandpa Joe
died.
Kiwi
Kiwi was my favorite pet. He was such a
sweet and loving bird and could sing
shorts songs. Sadly he died unexpectedly
right before Christmas.
Mourning
Geckos
I currently have 2 adult and 4 baby mourning
geckos. These are very easy to breed because
they reproduce asexually and do not require a
mate to lay fertile eggs.
Orchid
Mantids
Orchid mantids are considered one of the most
beautiful mantis species in the mantis keeping
hobby because they look like the beautiful
flowers they are named after.
Rubber
Ducky
Isopods
These are some of the most famous
isopod species and the most adorable
because they look like rubber ducks!
Sornoan
Desert
Millipedes
Sonoran desert millipedes are the
largest millipedes in America, they
come in chocolate and gold varieties.
Giant
Asian
Mantis
This giant asain mantis is currently my
largest invert and one of the coolest in
my opinion.
Colorful
isopods
These isopods are the common pillbug,
but with style!
Feeders:
Dubia
Roaches
Most of my animals need live insects for food,
so I raise my own colony at home. This may
seem crazy, but these guys are harmless and I
save a lot of money this way.
