Answer the following with justification.

1. Supplemental budget was appropriated by the present administration to augment the needs of the
different Departments/ agencies of the government to combat Covid-19. Formerly, President Duterte
commissioned the Municipal Mayors and Barangay Captains as responsible in the distribution of 5k to 8k
to qualified recipients. Lately, due to allegation of corruption, he had a change of mind and tasked the
DSWD as the lead Department/agency in the distribution of the said incentive. Do you agree with the
president, or a better and more credible Department/agency like the DepEd can do the job better.

2. Implementation of government programs means additional burden to tax payers if there are no
other sources of revenue. This has been the usual scenario as Philippine government depends so much
to tax payers. At this juncture is it moral and proper for the Philippine government to implement new
tax measures? Why.

3. Propose measure to get rid of corruption as it always hinders national development.

1. Under the Philippine Constitution, primary education is compulsory. Ironically, it is a normal scenario
to see out of school children around. The worst they are even used as accomplishes to crimes
perpetrated by outlaws. Propose measures to solve this problem so that they exercise/ avail the right to
quality education.

2. The Covid 19 disrupted the flow of learning as schools of the entire archipelago needed to shut down
to prevent its widespread. As teachers, what mechanism have you done to continue the flow of
learning.

3. What is meant by the term democracy as used in education?
