1. Being in nursing school was definitely my most challenging years both academically and
in life
For me the most challenging years both academically and in life were those in nursing
school
2. I had to focus more on my studies than other aspects of life
More than any other aspects of life I should focus more on the lesson
3. The clinical experience of nursing school allowed me to have the opportunity to put what
I learned in my classes and readings into action
I had the opportunity to apply what I was learning in class and my reading in action
when I had clinical experience in nursing school
4. I experienced so much during my clinical rotations
During clinical rotation I had experienced many things
5. My first clinical rotation at the main Emory University Hospital eased me into
performing nursing functions

7. One of my favorite experiences during clinical was when I had a patient who was first
starting chemotherapy

8. When I checked my patient a couple of minutes after starting his chemotherapy
A few minutes after I started chemotherapy when I was examining my patients
9. This experience taught me how important it is to asses your patient and teach your patient
beforehand about the reaction the patient could have due to the medication
The importance of judging your patient and of teaching your patient beforehand about
a patient’s reaction that may be caused by a drug has become what I learned from this
experience
10. Our patient recognized his symptoms and was able to know that what he was
experiencing was expected adverse reaction

10. This time the patient did not have a anaphylactic reaction, and tolerated his chemotherapy
well
