This topic will distinguish the changes from present production engines, and identify which socket must be used with each engine. Refer to the L10 Shop Manual, Bulletin No. 3379347, and the NT Shop Manual, Bulletin No. 3810395, for ‘camfollower lever socket rebuild procedures. Camfollower socket, Part No 213559, is used for the 88 NT injector and valve sockets. Camfollower socket, Part No. 3039282, is used forthe 88 L10 injector and valve sockets. Camfolower socket, Part No. 3064621, is used for the 91 L10 and 91 N14 injector and valve sockets. All hee sockets have the same O.D. measurement, but have different socket profiles. NOTE: Do not use the socket in a model engine other than identified above. Excess wear will result the sockets are mixed, or used with the wrong model engines, due to the different socket profiles.
