1. In drawing notes no. 1. Mentioned threaded bars, hexagonal nuts and washers grade 4.6
high tensile steel confirming to IS 1367 part 3.

Pioneer reply : Threaded bars shall grade 4.6 confirming to IS 1367 part 3 & Nut shall be
grade 5 as per IS 1363 part 3 and mechanical property confirms to IS 1367 part 6 & washer
as per IS 2016.

ITEM SL NO. 2 Drwg no. : attached as (annexure 02)

1. DRG: DMRC/GM/E/RC-1/ TRACTION SHEET- 1/1, REV-0 in which j-bolt M12x200 drawing not
available, please provide the drawing.

ITEM SL NO. 3 (attached annexure 3).

1. Drawing j bolts for signalling mast. And mentioned notes not clearly visible .please provide
readable drawing.

ITEM SL NO. 4 (PEB BOLT DRWING)

1. Nuts shall confirm to grade 8 as per IS 1364 part 3 & washer dimensions as per IS 2016 . As
nothing may specified about nut/washer dimension.

ITEM SL NO. 5 Drwg no. DMRC-PH-IV-DTD-EL1-STR-DWG-30220-RO (Attached as -Annexure 09)

1. In drawing notes no. 2 mentioned for steel IS 2067 steel for general structure purpose grade
B-designation 410-B and confirm for grade 8.8. but IS 2067 are spec. of wrought aluminium
wire for electrical purpose and in which IS 8500 spec has carbon content very low and will
not qualify for grade 8.8. we shall be follow material as per IS 1367 part-3 for confirming
grade 8.8.
2. Nos. Of nuts and washer not mention in drawing during assembly, please clarify.
3. DIA 28 U-bolt threading size shall be M27X3 pitch, please confirm.

ITEM SL NO. 6 (attached as-ANNEXURE 07)

1. Drawing not available, please provide drawing.

 1. For all bolts grade 4.6, 4.8 confirm to as per IS 1367 part 3. But nuts & washers dimension
not specified.

Reply: nuts shall be grade 5 as per IS 1363 part 3 & washers as per IS 2016.

2. Item sl no. 3 ( OHE U BOLTS 28 DIA) & itm sl no. 5

a) Chemical properties mentioned as per IS 2062:2006 and confirm for grade 8.8 / yield stress
640 as per is 1367 part 3.

Reply: In which specification IS 2062:2006 chemical composition has carbon content very low and
will not qualify for grade 8.8 as per IS 1367 part 3. We shall be follow chemical composition as per IS
1367 part 3 for confirming grade 8.8 / yield stress 640 as per IS 1367 part 3.

b) OHE U BOLTS 28 DIA are thread quality as per IS 4218 and nut quality confirming for as per IS
1364

Reply: OHE U BOLTS 28 DIA threading size shall be M27X3 pitch and nuts shall be dia M27X3 pitch as
per IS 1364.
Item sl no. 1, 2, 4, 8 and 9 :

J bolt with 2 nuts and 2 washers. Bolts as per is 1367 part 3 to grade confirm 4.6 and nuts grade 5 as
per IS 1363 part3 and washers as per IS 2016.

J bolt chemical properties as per IS 2062 grade B.

All material should be hot dip galvanized as per IS 2629 coating requirement average 54 micron.

Item sl no. 6 and 7 :

J bolt with 2 nuts and 2 washers. Bolts as per is 1367 part 3 to grade confirm 4.8 and nuts grade 5 as
per IS 1363 part3 and washers as per IS 2016.

J bolt chemical properties as per IS 2062 grade B.

All material should be hot dip galvanized as per IS 2629 coating requirement average 54 micron.

Item sl no. 3 and 5 :

Item sl no. 3 U bolts with 2 nuts & 2 washers and Item sl no. 5 j bolts with 2 nuts & 2 washers
conform to grade 8.8 as per is 1367 part 3 and nut grade 8 as per IS 1364 and washers as per IS 2016.

Chemical and mechanical property as per is 1367 part 3.

Hot dip galvanized as per IS0 1461 coating requirement average 50 micron.

Item sl no. 3 U bolt body diameter 28 mm and thread size will applicable to m27x3 pitch and nuts
threading size m27x3 pitch as per IS 1364.
