Set your Homepage in Firefox


Left click on the Tab of the page that you want to use as your homepage and,
drag it to the “Home” button.
Highlight any URL (text or other) on a page,
and drag it to the “Home” button to set as your Firefox homepage.
Left click on the icon in the Location Bar and drop it on the “Home” button.

Add a Firefox Bookmark


Left click on the icon in the location bar and drop it:
On the Bookmarks toolbar
On the Bookmarks main menu
Highlight any URL (text or other) and drag it:
To the Bookmarks toolbar
To the Bookmarks main menu
Right click on a page to, “Bookmark this page”
Right click on a link to, “Bookmark this link”

Add a shortcut to your desktop from Firefox


Use the “Restore Down” button (the middle button at the top right of your screen),
or, drag the Firefox window to a smaller size.
Then left click on the icon in the Location bar and,
drag it to the desktop, or, drag a link on a webpage to the desktop.

Firefox Search Shortcut


Highlight any text on a page and drag it to the Search bar and it will open in the current
Tab.
Hold Alt while dragging to have it open in a new Tab.
Note: The way that the Tab opens depends on your own Firefox configuration.

Quickly save an image to your desktop


Resize the Firefox window (as mentioned above in “Set your homepage”),
left click on an image and drag it to the desktop.

Open a link in Firefox quicker.


Highlight a link (text or other) on any web page and,
drag it to the Location bar to automatically open in the current Tab.

Left click on an image and drag it to the location bar.
You may have to follow an URL path to get to the source.
