Learning Outcome: Analyze an operation management scenario

Problem Statement

The state of affairs of local small scale businesses is currently under huge strain due to prevailing
constraints (due to Convid-19 pandemic) imposed on the society in general and on the businesses in
specific. Take a case business from your locality and analyze as to how and to what extent that particular
business has been affected. Also devise an operations strategy aimed at keeping the business running
and its possible uplift. Back your proposal by some analysis to gauge the effectiveness/potential
impacts.

Deliverables

1. Carryout the detailed analysis for the given scenario.

2. Justify your analysis approach also explaining how you have incorporated certain constraints
that are already given/not violated the given constraints. Also debate on any other possible
contextual aspects and implications.

Instructions

Students would work in groups (each group consisting of five students). Students will complete the
analysis and submit report.

Note: In wake of the current situation, students are instructed to resort to online, telephonic and
other remote measures/tools etc for data collection. The relevant Govt. and Health care advisories
should be complied with.

Submission Guidelines

Submission will be done in groups. It should reflect a technical report format. Report should reflect
individuality and independent analysis of each group
