1. Define “Nikah” Distinguish between valid, irregular and void marriages


under Muslim law.
2. State when a Hindu wife shall be entittled to live separately from the
husband without for forfieting her claim to maintenance.
3. Examine the scheme of succession to the property of a female Hindu
dying intestate under the Hindu Succession Act 1956.
4. Explain the scope and object of the Hindu Women’s Right in Property.
5. “The Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act,1956 has secularised the law
of Adoption”-Elucidate.
6. Distinguish between defacto guardian and testamentary guardian. Bring
out their powers and functions.
7. State the requirements relating to solemnisation of Christian marriage
under the Christian Marriage Act.
8. Explain Dower and discuss the classification of Dower explaining the
significance of dower in the Muslim Marriage.
9. Write short notes on any TWO of the following:

c) Defacto and Dejure guardian
d) Restitution of Conjugal Rights.
