1. Area ‘A’=50 km2 X Factor is

0.7 for registration numbers 1-40

0.8 for registration numbers 41-80

0.9 for registration numbers 81-120

1 for registration numbers 120-end

2. Intensity of rainfall i=3 mm/hr + R.N X 0.01

3. Coefficient of discharge C

All students must need to define their catchment area depending upon their hometown

e.g how much area in percentage is covered with houses, industrial, forest, vegetation etc.

Then find average value of Discharge coefiecient .
