PROPOSAL TO ARRANGE A CAREER GUIDANCE WORKSHOP

Heading : I am writing this proposal to arrange a career guidance workshop at Modern High Schoolfor
Girls,Kolkata.

Introduction : The workshop will assist the individuals to make educational choices and choose career
paths.Such a workshop will give valuable knowledge to the students,help them understand the various
factors that influence their aspirations.It will help them to make various decisions

Objectives:

1.To ensure that students make rational career choices based on personal strengths,values,interests and
abilities.

2.Assist students in career preparation and development.

List of measures :

1.The career guidance workshop will take place on 21st June which is a Saturday at MACE Hall from
11a.m. to 4p.m.

2.Ms.Seema Das,Head of Career Counselling Office and the students that are a part of the Career Squad
will be helping in conducting this workshop.It will be attended by students from classes 9 to 12.

3.Time will be spent on reviewing skills,values and interests and they will be asked to conduct research
about various career paths.They will be receiving valuable knowledge to help them make a decision.

4.A budget of Rs.3000 will be required to arrange materials required to conduct the activities that have
been planned.

5.Awareness regarding the workshop will be created through announcements in the assembly and an
email will be sent to parents of students from 9 to 12.
