02 PROGRAMMABLE MEASURING TRANSDUCERS

TRIAD
Class 0.2 multifunction configurable transducers.
The range comes in 2 cases with dimensions
MEASURING TRANSDUCERS - TRIAD

of 60 x 80 mm and 120 x 80 mm with standard

DIN rail attachment.
TRIAD transducers convert all high voltage
electric variables (P, Q, S, U, I, F and cos )
on 1, 2 or 3 low-level analogue outputs (mA or V).
To define and order TRIAD transducers
which suit your installation, refer to the
following pages:
• TRIAD self-powered TSPI & TSPU : page 23
High performance • TRIAD configured by ENERDIS, to order: pages 24 & 25
At the cutting edge of measuring transducer technology, • TRIAD configured by client, with TRIADJUST : page 26
TRIAD has the following features as standard :

• accuracy class 0.2 (IEC 60688), Configurable, quick delivery

• insulated to 4 kV, guaranteed
• wide dynamic-range power supply,
Because of its digital measuring core, TRIAD can be
• response time ≤ 350 ms,
adapted quickly and precisely to the installation’s
• complies with electromagnetic compatibility standards,
characteristics (current transformer ratio, measuring
• handles up to the 40th harmonic at 50 Hz.
range, transfer curve, output level, etc.).
TRIAD can be delivered with TRIADJUST™ software
(see p. 26) which allows the user to match the
transducer to the process.

Multi-purpose (3 in 1) devices
22 One TRIAD replaces 1, 2 or 3 conventional TRIAD reduces the number
transducers. of conventional transducers from 3 to 1.
Thanks to the combination of measurements
offered by a single case, the purchase price, Classic solution TRIAD solution
cabling costs and space required for
converters are reduced.

The CDM3 transducers are available in a surface mounting case (CDM3S

version) for permanent fitting, or in a plug-in case (CDM3E version) on a

permanently mounted socket. These sockets are designed not to interrupt
“current” circuits when transducers are unplugged, which makes it possible
to work on an installation without having to switch it off.
