W DRILL SPEED LADDER

Develops lateral movement.

EQUIPMENT: Speed Ladder DRILL SET-UP: Lay out the Speed Ladder in a straight line.

REPS: 2 reps down and back

THE DRILL
1. Start standing with the Speed Ladder on your right side and slightly in front of you. Feet are shoulder-width apart
and pressure is on the power pads of your feet.
2. Step diagonally with your left foot into the first square of the ladder, follow with your right foot. Your feet should
remain parallel to the ladder rungs.
3. Step diagonally with your left foot out in front of the ladder rail, follow with your right foot. You should be out in
front of the ladder straddling the second rung.
4. Step diagonally back with your left foot into the second square of the ladder, follow with your right foot.
5. Step diagonally back with your left foot behind the third square of the ladder, follow with your right. You should
be behind the ladder straddling the third rung. Repeat steps 2-5 down the entire length of the ladder. Alternate
leading foot through each rep.
