Shaykh `Abdull¡h ibn N£rull¡h al-Ba¦r¡n¢ has recorded in his book entitled `Aw¡lim al-`Ul£m through an
authentic chain of authority that J¡bir ibn `Abdull¡h al-An¥¡r¢ said that he heard F¡§imah the daughter of the
Holy Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, saying:

‫ـﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ ﺻﹶـﻠﱠﻰٰ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ﻮﻝﹸ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺑﹺﻲ ﺭ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻠﹶﻲ‬‫ﺧﹶﻞﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﺩ‬

One day, my father the Messenger of Allah,
peace be upon him and his Household,
visited me, “Peace be upon you, O F¡§imah!”
‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﺎﻡﹺ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﻻﻳ‬
 ‫ﺾﹺ ﭐ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻲ ﺑ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﺁﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬
he said.
“Peace be upon you, too.” I answered. ‫ ”ﺇﹺﻧﱢـﻲ‬:‫“ ﻗﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬.‫ﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ”ﻋ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬.‫ﺔﹸ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻓﹶﺎﻃ‬
“I can feel some fatigue in my body,” he said
to me, and I answered, “I pray Allah to ،‫ ﺑﹺﭑﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻴﺬﹸﻙ‬‫ﺍﻋ‬” : ‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ ﻟﹶﻪ‬.‫ﻔﺎﹰ‬‫ﻧﹺﻲ ﺿﹸﻌ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻲ ﺑ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﺍﺟﹺﺪ‬
protect you O father against fatigue.”
‫ﻴﻨﹺﻲ‬‫ﺔﹸ! ﭐﺋﹾﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺎﻃ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬.‫ﻒ‬‫ ﭐﻟﻀﱡﻌ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ ﻣ‬،‫ﺘﹶﺎﻩ‬‫ﺍﺑ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
“F¡§imah,” he ordered, “bring me the Yemeni
cloak and cover me with it.” ِ‫ـﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ ﺑﹺﭑﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺘﹸﻪ‬‫ﺗﹶﻴ‬‫“ ﻓﹶﺎ‬.‫ ﻓﹶﻐﹶﻄﱢﻴﻨﹺﻲ ﺑﹺﻪ‬‫ﺎﻧﹺﻲ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎﺀِ ﭐﻟﹾﻴ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺑﹺﭑﻟﹾﻜ‬
I brought him the Yemeni cloak and covered
him with it. I then kept on looking at his ‫ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ـﻪ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻴ‬‫ﻧﻈﹸـﺮ‬‫ﺕﹸ ﺍ‬‫ﺻﹸـﺮ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ ﺑﹺﻪ‬‫ﺘﹸﻪ‬‫ ﻓﹶﻐﹶﻄﱠﻴ‬‫ﺎﻧﹺﻲ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻴ‬
.‫ﻪ‬‫ﺎﻟ‬‫ﻛﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﺎﻣ‬‫ ﺗﹶﻤ‬‫ﻠﹶﺔ‬‫ﻲ ﻟﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﺒ‬‫ﻧﱠﻪ‬‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎ‬‫ﺎﻟﹶ‬‫ﺘﹶﻠﹶ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﻭ‬
face, which was glittering like a moon at the
night of its fullness and perfection.

No more than a while passed when my son

‫ـﻦﹺ ﻗﹶـﺪ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻱ‬‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻭﹺﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺑﹺﻮ‬‫ﺎﻋ‬‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎﻧﹶﺖﹾ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﺳ‬‫ﻓﹶﻤ‬
al-°asan came in, “Peace be upon you,
mother!” he greeted. :‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾـﺖﹸ‬.‫ـﺎﻩ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻞﹶ‬‫ﺍﻗﹾﺒ‬
“Peace be upon you, too, O delight of my eye
and fruit of my heart!” I replied. “.‫ﻱ‬‫ﺍﺩ‬‫ﺓﹶ ﻓﹸﺆ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺛﹶﻤ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺓﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﺎ ﻗﹸﺮ‬‫ ﻳ‬،‫ﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫”ﻭ‬
“O mother,” he said, “I can smell a pleasing
scent as if it is the scent of my grandfather
‫ـﺔﹰ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ـﺔﹰ ﻃﹶﻴ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﻙ‬‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺍﺷﹶﻢ‬ ‫! ﺇﹺﻧﱢﻲ‬‫ﺎﻩ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬
the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him ‫ـﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ ﺻﹶﻠﱠﻰٰ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻮﻝﹺ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻱ ﺭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺔﹸ ﺟ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻧﱠﻬ‬‫ﻛﹶﺎ‬
and his Household.”
“Yes, it is,” I answered, “Your grandfather is “.ِ‫ـﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻙ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫! ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ ”ﻧﹶﻌ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬.‫ﻪ‬‫ﺁﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬
now under the cloak.”
Al-°asan moved towards the cloak and said,
‫ـﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺤ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻗﹾﺒ‬‫ﻓﹶﺎ‬
“Peace be upon you, O grandfather, Allah’s
‫ﺍﻥ‬ ‫ـﻲ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺗﹶـ‬ !‫ﻮﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﺍﻩ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﺟ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬
Messenger. Will you allow me to be with you
under this cloak?” ‫ـﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫ﺎﺀِ؟“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺧﹸﻞﹶ ﻣ‬‫ﺍﺩ‬
My father replied, “Peace be upon you too,
my son and director of my Pond. I allow ‫ﻧـﺖﹸ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺪ‬،‫ﻲ‬‫ﺿ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﺣ‬‫ﺐ‬‫ﺎ ﺻﹶﺎﺣ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻱ ﻭ‬‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ﭐﻟﺴ‬
.ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺧﹶﻞﹶ ﻣ‬‫“ ﻓﹶﺪ‬.‫ﻟﹶﻚ‬
you.”Al-°asan then went under the cloak
with his grandfather.

‫ﻦﹺ ﻗﹶـﺪ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻱ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺑﹺﻮ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﻋ‬‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎﻧﹶﺖﹾ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﺳ‬‫ﻓﹶﻤ‬

No more than another while passed before
my son al-°usayn came in, “Peace be upon
you, mother!” he greeted.
:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾـﺖﹸ‬.‫ـﺎﻩ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻞﹶ‬‫ﺍﻗﹾﺒ‬
“Peace be upon you too, O my son, delight
of my eye, and fruit of my heart,” I replied. ‫ﺓﹶ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺛﹶﻤ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺓﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﺎ ﻗﹸﺮ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻱ ﻭ‬‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫”ﻭ‬
“O Mother,” he said, “I can smell a pleasing
scent as if it is the scent of my grandfather ‫ﻙ‬‫ﻨـﺪ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺷﹶـﻢ‬‫ّ ﺇﹺﻧﱢـﻲ ﺍ‬‫ﺎﻩ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬:‫ﻲ‬‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﻟ‬.‫ﻱ‬‫ﺍﺩ‬‫ﻓﹸﺆ‬
the Messenger of Allah.”
“.‫ﻮﻝﹺ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻱ ﺭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺔﹸ ﺟ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻧﱠﻬ‬‫ ﻛﹶﺎ‬،‫ﺔﹰ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻃﹶﻴ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺭ‬
“Yes,” I answered, “Your grandfather and
your bother are under the cloak.” “.ِ‫ـﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﺧﹶﺎﻙ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻙ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫! ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ ”ﻧﹶﻌ‬:‫ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬
Al-°usayn then approached towards the
cloak and said, “Peace be upon you, O ‫ـﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ـﺎﺀِ ﻭ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺤ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻓﹶﺪ‬
‫ﻩ‬‫ـﻦﹺ ﭐﺧﹾﺘﹶـﺎﺭ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫! ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﺍﻩ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﺟ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬
grandfather! Peace be upon you, O he whom
Allah has chosen! Will you allow me to be
with both of you under the cloak?”
“‫ﺎﺀِ؟‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺎ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻜﹸﻤ‬‫ﻌ‬‫َ ﻣ‬‫ﻛﹸﻮﻥ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻲ ﺍ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺗﹶ‬ !‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
My father replied, “Peace be upon you too, O
my son and intercessor of my people. I allow ‫ﻊ‬‫ـﺎ ﺷﹶـﺎﻓ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻱ ﻭ‬‫ﻟﹶـﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬
you.”
Al-°usayn then went with them under the
‫ـﺖﹶ‬‫ـﺎ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺧﹶﻞﹶ ﻣ‬‫“ ﻓﹶـﺪ‬.‫ﻧﺖﹸ ﻟﹶـﻚ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻲ! ﻗﹶﺪ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬
cloak.
.ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬
At the same time, Abu’l-°asan `Al¢ ibn Ab¢-
±¡lib came in, “Peace be upon you, daughter ‫ﺑﹺـﻲ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ـﻦ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ـﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﻦﹺ ﻋ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻮ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ ﺫٰﻟ‬‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﻗﹾﺒ‬‫ﻓﹶﺎ‬
of Allah’s Messenger,” he greeted.
“Peace be upon you too, O Abu’l-°asan and ‫ـﻮﻝﹺ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺎ ﺑﹺﻨـﺖﹶ ﺭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﻃﹶﺎﻟﺐﹴ ﻭ‬
Commander of the Faithful,” I replied.
He then said, “F¡§imah, I can smell a
‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻦ ﻭ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺎ ﭐﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺎ ﺍ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬.‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
pleasing scent, as if it is the scent of my
‫ﺷﹶـﻢ‬‫ﺔﹸ! ﺇﹺﻧﱢـﻲ ﺍ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺎﻃ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬.‫ﻨﹺﻴﻦ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﻴﺮ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬
brother and cousin the Messenger of Allah.”
“Yes,” I answered, “He is there with your two ‫ـﻦﹺ‬‫ﭐﺑ‬‫ـﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺧ‬‫ﺔﹸ ﺍ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻧﱠﻬ‬‫ ﻛﹶﺎ‬،‫ﺔﹰ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻃﹶﻴ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﻙ‬‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ﻋ‬
sons under the cloak.”
`Al¢ moved towards the cloak and said,
‫ـﻊ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ـﻮ‬‫ـﺎ ﻫ‬‫! ﻫ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ ”ﻧﹶﻌ‬:‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬.‫ﻮﻝﹺ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻲ ﺭ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻋ‬
“Peace be upon you, O Allah’s Messenger!
Will you allow me to be with you under the
‫ـﻮ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺤ‬‫ـﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ـﻞﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﻗﹾﺒ‬‫“ ﻓﹶـﺎ‬.ِ‫ـﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﻭ‬
cloak?” !‫ﻮﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺎﺀِ ﻭ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬
My father replied, “Peace be upon you too, O
brother, successor, vicegerent, and bearer of ‫ﺎﺀِ؟“ ﻗﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻛﹸﻮ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻲ ﺍ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺗﹶ‬
‫ﻲ‬‫ـﻴ‬‫ﺻ‬‫ـﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ـﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺧ‬‫ـﺎ ﺍ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ـﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ـﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫ﻟﹶﻪ‬
my Pennon. I allow you.”

“.‫ﻧـﺖﹸ ﻟﹶـﻚ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻲ! ﻗﹶـﺪ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ـﻮ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺐ‬‫ﺻﹶﺎﺣ‬‫ﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﻔﹶﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺧﹶﻠ‬‫ﻭ‬

I then came towards the cloak and said, .ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﺧﹶﻞﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﻓﹶﺪ‬
“Peace be upon you father, O Allah’s
Messenger. Will you allow me to be with you
under the cloak?” ‫ـﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹸﻠﹾﺖﹸ‬‫ﺎﺀِ ﻭ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﺖﹸ ﻧﹶﺤ‬‫ﺗﹶﻴ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﺛﹸﻢ‬
My father replied, “Peace be upon you too,
my daughter and part of my flesh. I allow ‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻛﹸﻮ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻲ ﺍ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺗﹶ‬ !‫ﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﺘﹶﺎﻩ ﻳ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺎ ﺍ‬‫ﻳ‬
‫ﻲ‬‫ﺎ ﺑﹺﻨﺘ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫ﺎﺀِ؟“ ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺗﹶﺤ‬
you.”
I thus went with them under the cloak.

‫ـﺖﹶ‬‫ﺧﹶﻠﹾﺖﹸ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫“ ﻓﹶـﺪ‬.‫ﻧﺖﹸ ﻟﹶـﻚ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻲ! ﻗﹶﺪ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻀﹾﻌ‬‫ﺎ ﺑ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻭ‬

When all of us sat under the cloak, my father
the Messenger of Allah took hold of the two .ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬
‫ﺑﹺـﻲ‬‫ﺍﺧﹶـﺬﹶ ﺍ‬ ،ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻌﺎﹰ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻠﹾﻨﹶﺎ ﺟ‬‫ﺎ ﭐﻛﹾﺘﹶﻤ‬‫ﻓﹶﻠﱠﻤ‬
edges of the cloak with one hand, pointed to
the sky with his right hand, and prayed, “O
Allah! These are my true household, my
ٰ‫ﻨﹶﻰ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻴ‬‫ﻩ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺑﹺﻴ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬،ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻓﹶﻲﹺ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﺑﹺﻄﹶﺮ‬‫ﻮﻝﹸ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺭ‬
unique people, and my kin. Their flesh is my
flesh, their blood is my blood, whatever ‫ﻲ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻞﹸ ﺑ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ﻻﹶﺀِ ﺍ‬‫ ﻫٰﺆ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻬ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺎﺀِ ﻭ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰٰ ﭐﻟﺴ‬
causes them pain causes me pain too, and
whatever saddens them saddens me too. I am ‫ـﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ﺩ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ـﻲ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻟﹶﺤ‬‫ـﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻲ؛ ﻟﹶﺤ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺎﻣ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺧﹶﺎﺻﱠﺘ‬‫ﻭ‬
at war against whoever wages war against
them, at peace with whoever is at peace with ‫ـﺎ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﺰﹸﻧﹸﻨﹺـﻲ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻟ‬‫ـﺆ‬‫ــﺎ ﻳ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻟ‬‫ـﺆ‬‫ ﻳ‬،‫ــﻲ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ﺩ‬
them, the enemy of whoever shows enmity
towards them, and I love whoever loves
‫ـﻦ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ـﻠﹾﻢ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ ﺣ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺏ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺍﻧﹶﺎ ﺣ‬ .‫ﻢ‬‫ﺰﹸﻧﹸﻬ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻳ‬
them. They are part of me and I am part of ‫ـﻦ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ـﺐ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﺍﻫ‬‫ـﺎﺩ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ـﻦ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺎﻟﹶﻤ‬‫ﺳ‬
them. Therefore (please) shower on me and
them Your blessings, benedictions, mercy, ،‫ﻚ‬‫ﺍﺗ‬‫ﻞﹾ ﺻﹶﻠﹶﻮ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ ﻓﹶﭑﺟ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﻨﹾﻬ‬‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻨﱢﻲ‬‫ﻢ ﻣ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻧﱠﻬ‬.‫ﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺍﺣ‬
forgiveness, and pleasure; remove from them
filth and purify them with thorough ‫ﺍﻧﹶﻚ‬‫ﺭﹺﺿﹾـﻮ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺍﻧﹶـﻚ‬‫ﻏﹸﻔﹾﺮ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺘﹶـﻚ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻚ‬‫ﻛﹶﺎﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬
‫ﻢ‬‫ﺮﻫ‬‫ﻃﹶﻬ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺲ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻨﹾﻬ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺐ‬‫ﺫﹾﻫ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻬﹺﻢ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻠﹶﻲ‬‫ﻋ‬
purifying.”

Meanwhile, Allah the Almighty and All- “.‫ﺗﹶﻄﹾﻬﹺﻴﺮﺍﹰ‬

majestic said, “O My angels and inhabitants
of My heavens! Verily, I have not created any
well-established sky, extended land, glowing ‫ـﻜﱠﺎﻥ‬‫ـﺎ ﺳ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻲ! ﻭ‬‫ﻜﹶﺘ‬‫ﻼﺋ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫ﻞﱠ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﺰﱠ ﻭ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
moon, shining sun, revolving planet, flowing
ocean, or moving on ark except for the love ‫ﺿﺎﹰ‬‫ﺍﺭ‬ ‫ﻻﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺔﹰ‬‫ﻨﹺﻴ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺎﺀً ﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﺧﹶﻠﹶﻘﹾﺖﹸ ﺳ‬‫ﻲ! ﺇﹺﻧﱢﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﺍﺗ‬‫ﺎﻭ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺳ‬
of these five (individuals) who are now under
the cloak.” ‫ﻻﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻴﺌﹶﺔﹰ‬‫ﻀ‬‫ﺴﺎﹰ ﻣ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﺷﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻨﹺﻴﺮﺍﹰ‬‫ﺮﺍﹰ ﻣ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﻗﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺔﹰ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻣ‬

Gabriel the Honest Archangel asked, “O my

Lord! Who are those under the cloak?”
The Almighty and All-majestic
answered, “They are the household
Prophethood and the core of the Message.
They are namely F¡§imah, her father, her
husband, and her sons.”
“O my Lord,” Gabriel asked, “Will You allow
me to descend to the earth to be the sixth of
them?”
Allah the Almighty and All-majestic said,
“Yes, I allow you.”
Gabriel the Honest Archangel descended,
“Peace be upon you, O Allah’s Messenger!”
he greeted, “The Most High and All-high
(Lord) conveys to you His greeting, expresses
His special greeting and honoring to you, and
says, ‘By My Almightiness and My Majesty I
take this oath: I have not created any well-
established sky, extended land,
moon, shining sun, revolving planet, flowing
ocean, or moving on ark except for your sake
and for your love.’ He has then allowed me to
join you (under this cloak). Will you, O
Allah’s Messenger, allow me?”
Allah’s Messenger said, “Peace be upon you,
O trustee of Allah’s Revelations. Yes, I allow
you.”
So, Gabriel joined us under the cloak. He
thus said to my father, “Allah has revealed to
you saying, ‘Allah only desires to keep away
the uncleanness from you, O people of the
House, and to purify you a thorough
purifying.’”
‫ﺮﹺﻱ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﻓﹸﻠﹾﻜﺎﹰ ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺮﹺﻱ‬‫ﺠ‬‫ﺮﺍﹰ ﻳ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﺑ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺭ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻓﹶﻠﹶﻜﺎﹰ ﻳ‬
‫ـﺖﹶ‬‫ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ـﻢ‬‫ ﻫ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ ﭐﻟﱠـﺬ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻻﹶﺀِ ﭐﻟﹾﺨﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻫٰﺆ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻓ‬
Lord
of “.ِ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬
‫ـﺖﹶ‬‫ـﻦ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻣ‬‫! ﻭ‬‫ﺏ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫ﻞﹸ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫ﻴﻦ‬‫ﻻﻣ‬
 ‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﭐ‬
‫ـﺖ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ـﻞﹸ ﺑ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ـﻢ‬‫ ”ﻫ‬:‫ـﻞﱠ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ـﺰﱠ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﺀِ؟“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﻋ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬
‫ـﺎ‬‫ﻮﻫ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ـﺔﹸ ﻭ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺎﻃ‬‫ـﻢ‬‫ ﻫ‬.‫ﺎﻟﹶﺔ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺓ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﭐﻟﻨﱡﺒ‬
‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺗﹶـ‬ !‫ﺏ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫ﻞﹸ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒ‬‫“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺟ‬.‫ﺎ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ﻨﹸﻮ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻠﹸﻬ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬
“‫ﺳﺎﹰ؟‬‫ﺎﺩ‬‫ ﺳ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻛﹸﻮ‬ِ‫ﺽﹺ ﻻ‬‫ﻻﺭ‬
 ‫ﺒﹺﻂﹶ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰٰ ﭐ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﻲ ﺍ‬‫ﻟ‬
‫ﻂﹶ‬‫ﺒ‬‫“ ﻓﹶﻬ‬.‫ﻧﺖﹸ ﻟﹶﻚ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺪ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ ”ﻧﹶﻌ‬:‫ﻞﱠ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﺰﱠ ﻭ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
‫ـﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ـﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ـﻼﻡ‬‫ ” ﭐﻟﺴ‬:‫ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﻞﹸ ﻭ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫ﻴﻦ‬‫ﻻﻣ‬
‫ﭐ‬
،‫ـﻼﹶﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻘﹾﺮﹺﺋﹸـﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶـﻰٰ ﻳ‬‫ﻻﻋ‬
 ‫ ﭐ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫! ﭐﻟﹾﻌ‬‫ﻮﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺭ‬
:‫ﻝﹸ ﻟﹶ ـﻚ‬‫ﻘﹸ ـﻮ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺍﻡﹺ‬‫ﭐﻹِﻛﹾ ـﺮ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ ـﺔ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺑﹺﭑﻟﺘﱠﺤ‬‫ﺨﹸﺼﱡ ـﻚ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻭ‬
glowing
،‫ـﺔﹰ‬‫ﻨﹺﻴ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺎﺀً ﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﺧﹶﻠﹶﻘﹾﺖﹸ ﺳ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻧﱢﻲ ﻣ‬،‫ﻲ‬‫ﻼﻟ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺰﱠﺗ‬‫ﻋ‬‫’ﻭ‬
‫ﺴـﺎﹰ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﺷﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻨﹺﻴـﺮﺍﹰ‬‫ﺮﺍﹰ ﻣ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﻗﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺔﹰ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺿﺎﹰ ﻣ‬‫ﺍﺭ‬ ‫ﻻﹶ‬‫ﻭ‬
‫ﻻﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ـﺮﹺﻱ‬‫ﺠ‬‫ـﺮﺍﹰ ﻳ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﺑ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺭ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﻓﹶﻠﹶﻜﺎﹰ ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻴﺌﹶﺔﹰ‬‫ﻀ‬‫ﻣ‬
‫ﻥ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻗﹶـﺪ‬‫‘ ﻭ‬.‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﻻﺟ‬
ِ ‫ﺮﹺﻱ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻓﹸﻠﹾﻜﺎﹰ ﻳ‬
‫ـﻮﻝﹶ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ـﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻲ ﻳ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﻥ‬‫ﻞﹾ ﺗﹶ‬‫ ﻓﹶﻬ‬،‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺧﹸﻞﹶ ﻣ‬‫ﺍﺩ‬ ‫ﻥ‬‫ﻲ ﺍ‬‫ﻟ‬
‫ـﺎ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ـﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ”ﻭ‬:‫ﻮﻝﹸ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺳ‬‫؟“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺭ‬‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
“.‫ﻧﺖﹸ ﻟﹶﻚ‬‫ﺫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺪ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ ﻧﹶﻌ‬.‫ﻲﹺ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﻣ‬
‫ ﻓﹶﻘﹶـﺎﻝﹶ‬،ِ‫ـﺎﺀ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ـﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻨﹶﺎ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻞﹸ ﻣ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺧﹶﻞﹶ ﺟ‬‫ﻓﹶﺪ‬
‫ـﺎ‬‫ »ﺇﹺﻧﱠﻤ‬:‫ﻘﹸـﻮﻝﹸ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﻰٰ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻴ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺪ‬‫ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ ”ﺇﹺﻥ‬:‫ﺑﹺﻲ‬‫ﻻ‬

‫ـﺖ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﺒ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﺲ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ﻨﹾﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺐ‬‫ﺬﹾﻫ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺮﹺﻳﺪ‬‫ﻳ‬

`Al¢ then said to my father, “O Allah’s
Messenger! Please tell me; what is the value
of this gathering of us under this cloak in the
‫ﻨـﺪ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻔﹶﻀﹾـﻞﹺ ﻋ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﺎﺀِ ﻣ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺖﹶ ﭐﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻨﹶﺎ ﻫٰﺬﹶﺍ ﺗﹶﺤ‬‫ﻠﹸﻮﺳ‬‫ﺠ‬‫ﻟ‬
sight of Allah?”
The Prophet, peace be upon him and his :‫ـﻪ‬‫ﺁﻟ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ـﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ ﺻﹶـﻠﱠﻰٰ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫؟“ ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﭐﻟﻨﱠﺒﹺﻲ‬‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬
Household, said, “I swear this by Him Who
has sent me with the truth as Prophet and ‫ﺎﻟﹶﺔ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﭐﺻﹾﻄﹶﻔﹶﺎﻧﹺﻲ ﺑﹺﭑﻟﺮ‬‫ﺎﹰ ﻭ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺒﹺﻴ‬‫ﻖ‬‫ﺜﹶﻨﹺﻲ ﺑﹺﭑﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻱ ﺑ‬‫ﭐﻟﱠﺬ‬‫”ﻭ‬
‫ﻞﹺ‬‫ﺎﻓ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻦ ﻣ‬‫ﻔﹶﻞﹴ ﻣ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﻫٰﺬﹶﺍ ﻓ‬‫ ﺧﹶﺒﺮ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺎ ﺫﹸﻛ‬‫ ﻣ‬،‫ﺎﹰ‬‫ﻧﹶﺠﹺﻴ‬
chosen me, as holding communion, to convey
the Message; whenever the tale of this
gathering of us is mentioned in an assembly
،‫ﻨﹶـﺎ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ﻨﹶﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻦ ﺷ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻊ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻓ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺽﹺ‬‫ﻻﺭ‬
 ‫ﻞﹺ ﭐ‬‫ﺍﻫ‬
of the people of the earth in which a group of
our adherents and lover are present, the ‫ﻔﱠــﺖﹾ ﺑﹺﻬﹺــﻢ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ــﺔﹸ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ﻬﹺﻢ‬‫ﻠﹶــﻴ‬‫ﻧﹶﺰﹶﻟﹶــﺖﹾ ﻋ‬‫ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﻭ‬
(divine) mercy shall certainly be poured
down on them and the angels shall certainly “.‫ﻗﹸﻮﭐ‬‫ﺘﹶﻔﹶﺮ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﺍﻥ‬ ٰ‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ‬،‫ﻢ‬‫ﺕﹾ ﻟﹶﻬ‬‫ﺘﹶﻐﹾﻔﹶﺮ‬‫ﭐﺳ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻜﹶﺔﹸ‬‫ﻼﺋ‬‫ﭐﻟﹶﻤ‬
surround them, asking forgiveness for them
until they depart.”
‫ﻓﹶﺎﺯﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ ﻓﹸﺰﹾﻧﹶﺎ‬‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ ”ﺇﹺﺫﹰﺍ ﻭ‬:‫ﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﻋ‬
`Al¢, peace be upon him, commented, “Then,
“.‫ﺔ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻜﹶﻌ‬‫ﺏ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺘﹸﻨﹶﺎ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺷ‬
by Allah I swear it; we have won. So have our
adherents. I swear it by the Lord of the
Ka`bah.”
‫ﺎ‬‫ ”ﻳ‬:‫ﻪ‬‫ﺁﻟ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ ﺻﹶﻠﱠﻰٰ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻝﹸ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﺑﹺﻲ‬‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺍ‬
“O `Al¢!” my father Allah’s Messenger, peace be
upon him and his Household, added, “I swear
this by Him Who has sent me with the truth as
‫ﭐﺻﹾـﻄﹶﻔﹶﺎﻧﹺﻲ‬‫ـﺎﹰ ﻭ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺒﹺﻴ‬‫ﻖ‬‫ﺜﹶﻨﹺﻲ ﺑﹺـﭑﻟﹾﺤ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻱ ﺑ‬‫ﭐﻟﱠﺬ‬‫! ﻭ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﻋ‬
Prophet and chosen me, as holding communion,
to convey the Message; whenever the tale of this ‫ﻔﹶـﻞﹴ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ـﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﻫٰﺬﹶﺍ ﻓ‬‫ ﺧﹶﺒﺮ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺎ ﺫﹸﻛ‬‫ ﻣ‬،‫ﺎﹰ‬‫ ﻧﹶﺠﹺﻴ‬‫ﺎﻟﹶﺔ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺑﹺﭑﻟﺮ‬
gathering of us is mentioned in an assembly of
the people of the earth in which a group of our ‫ـﻦ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ـﻊ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫ـﻪ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻓ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺽﹺ‬‫ﻻﺭ‬
 ‫ـﻞﹺ ﭐ‬‫ﺍﻫ‬ ‫ـﻞﹺ‬‫ﺎﻓ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻦ ﻣ‬‫ﻣ‬
adherents and lover are present and among them
there is a distressed one, Almighty Allah shall
certainly release him from distress, or there is
‫ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺝ‬‫ﻓﹶﺮ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﻭ‬‫ﻡ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻬﹺﻢ ﻣ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻓ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻨﹶﺎ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﻣ‬‫ﻨﹶﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺷ‬
among them an aggrieved one, Almighty Allah
shall certainly relieve him from grief, or there is ‫ﻻﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ـﻪ‬‫ ﻏﹶﻤ‬‫ ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ﻛﹶﺸﹶـﻒ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﻭ‬‫ﻡ‬‫ـﻮ‬‫ﻐﹾﻤ‬‫ﻻﹶ ﻣ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻪ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻫ‬
among them one who needs a request to be
granted, Almighty Allah shall certainly grant him “.‫ﺘﹶﻪ‬‫ﺎﺟ‬‫ ﺣ‬‫ﻗﹶﻀﹶﻰٰ ﭐﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻻﱠ ﻭ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺎﺟ‬‫ ﺣ‬‫ﻃﹶﺎﻟﺐ‬
his request.”
`Al¢, peace be upon him, said, “Then, we have

‫ ﻓﹸﺰﹾﻧﹶـﺎ‬‫ﭐﻟﻠﱠـﻪ‬‫ ”ﺇﹺﺫﹰﺍ ﻭ‬:‫ـﻼﻡ‬‫ ﭐﻟﺴ‬‫ـﻪ‬‫ﻠﹶﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻠ‬‫ﻓﹶﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﻋ‬

won and attained pleasure. I swear it by Allah. So
have our adherents; they have won and attained
pleasure in this world and in the Hereafter. I
swear it by the Lord of the Ka`bah.” ‫ـﻲ‬‫ﻭﭐ ﻓ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ـﻌ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺘﹸﻨﹶﺎ ﻓﹶﺎﺯﹸﻭﭐ ﻭ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺷ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﻛﹶﺬٰﻟ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﻧﹶﺎ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻭ‬
“.‫ﺔ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﭐﻟﹾﻜﹶﻌ‬‫ﺏ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬،‫ﺓ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﭐﻵﺧ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻧﻴ‬‫ﭐﻟﺪ‬
