I. TITLE:
PEER TEACHING

II. OBJECTIVES:
1. To make English an enjoyable learning area.
2. Prepare students in more challenging activities/tasks involving the use of English language.
3. Improve/develop learners’ ability in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English
language.
4. Utilize reading as a means of developing language skills.

III. BACKGROUND:
English is a global language, so the importance’s of being able to speak, read, write, and
understand this language is necessary nowadays. Moreover, not all of the Grade 7 students are fast
reading and good in comprehension in English, so the SMILE program pick 10 Students who were
enrolled in this program.
We had different activities every Tuesday and Thursday for the students, which include
enjoyable learning games like spelling, word pair and review, and scrabble. Luckily, they enjoyed all
the activities that we prepared for them.
