Facebook’s network fears

In today’s world, the ways of communication have changed over the century, in the
past we would have face to face contacts because of lack of technology. But as the
technology has been improving, it gives this opportunity to having contact with
other people effectively and efficiency globally. It is undeniable that it put the
significant effect on the business as well.

As we can see, it became more common for cooptation to sell their product through
internet and while we are dealing with Corona19, they can still sell the product and
make profit.

Among this social media we can mention about Facebook which is a social
networking service launched as The Facebook on February 4, 2004. It was founded
by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University
students Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris
Hughes and has put the significant effect on social networking. Additionally, I
should mention that as Facebook has many rivals, so network effects is very
important for this company because in the social networking you should whether to
beat your competitors by providing better services and attract more users and in
principle of network effect as the number of users increase then it attract more
people to join and it is beneficial for the company and the second solution to
survive in this market is to buy your competitors as Facebook did.

And from my perspective, when people see other companies provide better
services then most people will change their test and in case of me, I would do that
if I found better program.
Moreover, I should say that as I am Iranian, The Telegram is more common in my
country and I also use What’s app but the advantage which Facebook has, you can
post videos or status but in case of Telegram you can’t but as the Facebook is filter
in my country so we use the alternative program. But up to now I haven’t seen any
other apps which provide the service like Facebook.

Eventually, I should say that in case of competing with rivals in social media
market you should be up to date and invest more in R&D and provide the best
services.
