Question : Write interpretation of articles 52 ,53 and 54 of the constitution of the united

republic of Tanzania of 1977 as amended 2005.

1. Article 52{1-3} provided the prime minister shall have power to control the business of the
government under the direct of the president
2. Article 53{1-2} under this article regard to the provision of articles in the union constitution the
prime minister shall perform duties under the order of president.

3.Article 54{1-5} provided that there shall be cabinet which included the vice president, the prime
minister, the president of Zanzibar and all the ministers. This cabinet shall be principle organ of advising
the president. Also attorney general shall attend the meetings and shall not allow to vote at the
meetings

In general the power of prime minister can determined by the president and regard of some provision
from the constitution of the united Republic of Tanzania as amended day today.
