Eggless Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients:

 Milk - 2 liters
 Sugar - 250 gm
 Corn starch – 90 gm
 Milk powder - 5 tbsps
 Chocolate melted – 200 gm
 Vanilla essence - few drops
 Icing sugar – 75 gm
 Whipping cream – 100 ml

Method:

1. Boil milk with sugar, retain ½ cup to mix in corn starch and milk powder
2. Mix cornstarch and milk powder with the ½ cup milk without any lumps.
3. Once the milk steams, pour it into the above mixture and stir well until it becomes thick and
coats the back of your spoon.
4. Meanwhile melt chocolate in microwave.
5. Add this to the milk mix and cook for a few more minutes till it becomes shiny. Add vanilla
essence.
6. Transfer this mixture into another wide mouthed bowl and cover with cling film on top. This
helps prevent layer formation.
7. Cool mixture to room temperature and pour into cups and chill them.
8. Prepare whipped cream and dollop the mouse cups.

Enjoy the chilled desert!
