-----------------------------------Information----------------------------------
Control Station: Check if standby is up
Information HC_CS_27389984778: The standby Control Station is
currently powered on. It will be powered off during upgrade, and then
later restarted and upgraded.

Blades : Check if each primary Blade has standby

Information HC_DM_27390050395: The following primary Blade(s) server_2
do(es) not use automatic failover policy. It is recommended that each
primary Blade have a standby configured for it with automatic failover
policy for high availability.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------Warnings------------------------------------
Control Station: Check auto transfer status
Warning HC_CS_18800050420: Cannot establish connection to FTP server
sftphost sftp.emc.com
Action : Command "/nas/tools/automaticcollection -verifyftp" failed to
connect to FTP connection. Check the configuration in
/nas/site/automaticcollection.cfg file. For more information, search
the Knowledgebase on Powerlink as follows:
1. Log in to http://powerlink.emc.com and go to Support >
Knowledgebase Search> Support Solutions Search.
2. Use ID emc221733 to search.

Blades : Check CIFS file server configuration

Warning HC_DM_18800115743:
* server_2: The CIFS server 'AYACIFS' has not joined its domain. The
CIFS clients will not be able to access the shares of this server
using a domain user.
Action : Join the server in the domain using the server_cifs -
Join command.

Blades : Check CIFS file server configuration

Warning HC_DM_18800115743:
* server_2: The DNS server is not up-to-date. The IP address
10.158.214.3 of the CIFS server 'ayacifs.entelsn.local' is not
registered in DNS. Depending on the configured update mode
(parameter dns.updateMode), the issue may concern a manual update
that has not occurred on the DNS server or a Kerberos problem.
Action : If the DNS update mode is manual (dns.updateMode=0), update
the IP address of the CIFS server in the DNS manually. If not, try a
'server_cifs' command to figure out the problem with the FQDN. Take a
look also in the logs using server_log to figure out the Kerberos
issue, if any.

Blades : Check connectivity to NTP servers

Warning HC_DM_18800115743:
* server_2: Only one NTP server is configured. It is recommended to
define at least two different NTP servers for a high availability.
If the clock of the Data Mover is not correct, potential errors
during Kerberos authentication may happen (timeskew).
Action : Use the server_date command to define another NTP server on
the Data Mover. Read the man pages for details and examples.

Blades : Check if file system usage is under limit

Warning HC_DM_18800115861: The following mounted file systems are
full. At least 128K bytes of free space are required.
* ldap1LP
Action :

To resolve the problem, perform the following:

1. Remove unnecessary files from the specified file systems.
2. Run the "/nas/bin/server_df ALL" command to verify that the file
systems have met the minimum free space requirement.
3. If the minimum free space requirement is not met, extend the file
systems using the Unisphere or CLI and by referring to the
"Managing VNX Volumes and File Systems Manually" technical module
that can be found on http://powerlink.emc.com/

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------Errors-------------------------------------
Control Station: Check for correct filesystem mount options
Error HC_CS_14505082982: The following file systems were found to be
corrupted:
* prepago on server_2
Action :

Run "/nas/bin/server_mount ALL" manually to find the corrupted file

system. If the problem persists, escalate this issue through your
support organization if needed. Provide this output in the
escalation.

Blades : Check if primary is active

Error HC_DM_14505148434: Blade in slot 2 is failed over
Action :

Use command "/nas/bin/server_standby server_2 -restore mover" to

failback the server to slot 2.

Blades : Check if root filesystem is too large

Error HC_DM_14505148436: Output from command "/nas/bin/server_df
server_2" has no information on file system root_fs_3
Action :

1. See if a Blade has failed over to slot 3 by checking the

following:
- Did the "Blade: Check if primary is active" check fail?
- Does "/nas/bin/nas_server -l" list the Blades as faulted?
2. If this is the case, fail back the Blade with
"/nas/bin/server_standby <server_name> -restore mover" command.
3. Otherwise check with the /nas/bin/server_df command that the root
file system for Blade server_2 has the default name root_fs_3.
4. If it does not, rename the file system with the
/nas/bin/nas_fs command.

Blades : Check if root filesystem has enough free space

Error HC_DM_14505148440: Output from command "/nas/bin/server_df
server_2" has no information on file system root_fs_3
Action :
