Professional profile:

The Professional Profile of the Higher Technology Career in Aeronautical Mechanics is

the set of specific competences identified in the market study, which enables you to
perform in the labor field, through participation in projects related to society and pre-
professional practices in real environments of the aeronautical area.

The Senior Technologist graduated in aeronautical mechanics develops the following

competences of his professional profile:

Performs preventive maintenance on reciprocal engines and Jet engines, as well as their
systems.

Execute minor structural repairs.

Performs external and internal inspection of the engines and reports.

Perform the rigging and trimming preventive and overhaul propellers.

Performs the rigging and trimming, calibration and operational checks of the engines.

Performs preventive maintenance of aircraft and their systems according to the

manufacturer's specifications.

It replaces defective minor parts.

It methodically inspects aircraft, their systems and structure.

Analyze and give solutions to failures (Troubleshooting).
