High Fiber and Protein Energy Bites

Ingredients:
• 1 cup oatmeal (old-fashioned oats)
• ½ cup granola mix of choice (nature valley oats n’ honey protein crunchy granola)
• ½ cup ground flaxseed
• ½ cup natural peanut butter
• ½ cup walnuts (or any nut of choice)
• ¼ cup dried cranberries (or raisins)
• 1/3 cup honey (can substitute with ½ to ¾ cup maple syrup)
• 1 Tbsp natural cocoa
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and mix until well blended.
2. Place bowl in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
3. Remove from refrigerator and roll into golf ball sized balls. (recipe makes 24 energy bites)
4. Enjoy!

Tip: Get creative and add or substitute any of your favorite healthy ingredients to the recipe. Energy bites can
be stored in refrigerator for about 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months.
