Recommended Textbook:
Policies:
1. Students are expected to read the cases listed above in their original, including the relevant codal
provisions.
2. Textbooks/ readings may be brought in class. However, students should not read from the
textbook/readings during recitations, unless instructed by the Professor.
3. The professor will award plus 10 in the raw score in the final exams of students with complete attendance.
By complete attendance, the Professor means that the student does not incur absences, excused or
unexcused, subject only to the qualification that non-attendance in class on account of activities approved
by the School of Law (e.g., participation of the student in moot court competitions) will not be deemed as
an absence for this purpose.
3.1. The Professor strictly enforces the attendance policy of the University especially the rules on
maximum number of absences. Any student exceeding the maximum shall be automatically given a
final grade of 5.0.

4. The Professor reserves the right to supplement the above as necessary to enhance the learning of the
students. Where the supplement includes cases, the said cases shall form part of the handwritten digests.
5. Students should bring 1x1 photo on the first day of class, which shall be used for the seating plan.
6. The elected Class Beadle shall coordinate with the Professor for copies of the journal articles mentioned in
this outline.
