Objective: to develop music artist recommendation system for Gaana application

users based on their countries
Assumption:
Music is vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of
form, harmony, and expression of emotion. Audience of particular music is influenced by who is
the artist ,what is the type of genre, Listening to music also depends upon geography ,but this is
also true that some of the artist are famous across certain countries irrespective of geography
and not known in some countries. Here we are using association rule mining to develop a
analysis to find which all artist are listened in different countries so that we can give
recommendations to other such audience
In this analysis we have use support =0.45 which tells us popularity or frequency in transaction
matrix ,confidence =0.7 which tells about probability that user will listen particular song and lift
should be greater than 1(lift>1) which shows positively correlated .
Recommendations:
We make recommendations for country-based artists by finding music whose characteristics are
very close to the preferences of the user and the country the user resides in.
Based on the description of the item and the artists 'preferential profile for each country, suggest
the songs in order of popularity, except for the ones already in the user's profile.
Recommendation can be issued based on choices of other countries with similar artist
preference

This analysis suggest that the user who listened to red hot chilli peppers must be
recommended the beatles
Likewise users who listened coldplay and the killers must be recommended radiohead
