RE: Demand Letter dated 28 December 2007 addressed to Mrs. Dolora J. Buntain

Dear Atty. XXXX:

We represent our client, Aurora Fe B. Laguesma, true owner of House of Pansit

Malabon located at Mambugan, Antipolo City.

This refers to your above-captioned letter demanding payment of P45, 000.00

allegedly for medical expenses your client’s sustained from alleged food poisoning after
eating our client’s pancit malabon on 14 February 2007.

In this regard, we respectfully believe that our client’s pancit malabon has not
caused your client’s food poisoning because, firstly, all the ingredients used in
manufacturing the food are fresh that using of rotten ingredients is improbable; secondly,
all their pancit malabon are properly cooked and prepared according to sanitation
standard that the contamination of the food is highly impossible; and lastly, before they
properly released the food to their clients, either Ms. Laguesma or his assistant had
checked and tasted them according to the standard that either Ms. Laguesma or her
assistant would have suffered the same fate if the said food have caused your client’s
food poisoning, but they did not.

Accordingly, we are regretful to deny your claim.
