Banking carrier

Types of banking carrier


1. Central bank (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, OFFICER GENERAL).
2. Government bank (JUNIOR OFFICER, SENIOR OFFICER).
3. Private commercial bank (AO, JO ,MTO).

Due to my academic qualification , handsome salaries and attractive working


environment I am very much interested in banking profession. Islamic and central
banking is my first choice rather than conventional and government banking .i
have analyze the recruitment process of all kinds of bank including the central
bank of Bangladesh. The recruitment process consist of---
 Preliminary test
 Written test
 Final viva
The MTO recruitment of the private commercial banks and the recruitment of AD
of central bank have similar kinds of questions in the recruitment test. Specially
the mathematics in both recruitment test are GRE standard. Most of the private
commercial banks recruit the JO and ATO from the waiting list of MTO
recruitment. The special recruitment of JO and ATO are hardly occurs. At the same
time the preparation for MTO post also covers the syllabus of the government
bank recruitment test of all kinds of post including SO.
Requirements
Minimum academic qualification for different types of bank and different kinds
of post:
1. For Bangladesh bank and government banks minimum CGPA IN
SSC and HSC is 3 out of 5.
2. For MTO of private commercial banks the minimum CGPA in
SSC and HSC is at least 4 out of 5. For some of the bank it is 4.5
out of 5.
3. For Bangladesh bank (post graduation is not required) and
government banks CGPA in undergraduate and post graduate
at least 2.5 out of 4.
4. For the MTO of private commercial banks CGPA in
undergraduate and post graduate at least 3 out of 4. FOR some
of the organization it is 3.5 or 3.25 out of 4.

Syllabus of preliminary test of various Banking organizations:

 Bengali grammar and literature.


 Basic English grammar and literature.
 General knowledge.
 Analytical ability.
 Mathematical problem.
 ICT

Syllabus of written test of various Banking organizations:

 English essay (descriptive, argumentative).


 Brief mathematical problem solving.
 Analytical skill.
 Translation.
 Passage.
 Report and business letter.

(The question patterns are different for different question makers such as BIBM , IBA, AUST
ETC.)

LIMITATIONS
1. Basic Bengali grammar.
2. No preparation for GRE standard mathematics.
3. Analytical skill.
4. Never participate in any competitive recruitment test yet.
5. The degree of preparation in current affairs, Bangladesh studies etc. are at a
very primary stage.
6. Inefficient in argumentative essay writing.
7. Due to zero participation time management in competitive recruitment test
is very week.

PROGRESS PLAN
I have plan to preparing for recruitment test on my own rather than attending in
the coaching class. But I will participate in the model test. My major task now is to
collect all the supportive book of Bengali and English grammar and literature,
mathematics previous solution bank etc. For analytical skill I have to consult with
anyone who become successful in the recruitment test than I will follow his
suggestions. For GRE standard mathematics I have searched in youtube and
various online blog where experts are suggesting to take preparation by own from
solutions guide and website questions though I am thinking about to get admitted
in coaching for mathematics. For being more effective , efficient and experienced
in the recruitment test I will participate in various examinations even if it is not
bank recruitment test. Also now I am practicing essay writing on various current
national and international issues both descriptive and argumentative approach.
Now I am taking preparation on the general mathematics of JSC and SSC syllabus
because I have noticed that those math questions are given in the recruitment test
in shortcut format.
