Swedish Institute Scholarship Programmes


Swedish-Turkish Scholarship Programme and SI Scholarships for the Western Balkans 2020/2021

Thank you for applying for a Swedish Institute scholarship. We received 336 applications from 331 applicants. 236 of these candidates were admitted to a master programme: 18
from Albania, 13 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 20 from Kosovo, 3 from Montenegro, 10 from North Macedonia, 8 from Serbia and 164 from Turkey. 20 are selected for a scholarship
and 4 are placed on the reserve list.

Successful candidates will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail by 27 April 2020 and will be requested to accept or reject the scholarship offer by 3 May 2020.

Scholarship offers which are rejected by successful candidates may then be offered to applicants on the reserve list, depending on the amount of rejections and so forth. The list above is sorted in the
order of application number and no priority or ranking is implied. If you are offered a scholarship, you will be informed via email by May - June 2020. However, places rejected by recipients after this
date can be offered to a candidate on the reserve list, provided the candidate is able to start the studies in Sweden on time.

Kindly note that being placed on a reserve list does not guarantee that you will be offered a scholarship.

*Refers to the application number you gave the SI when you submitted your scholarship application(s), even if your number has been changed by University Admissions at a later stage.
